An updated list of taxable and exempt property for sales and use tax purposes in Pennsylvania has been released. The PA Dept. of Revenue (PDOR) has revised the list, adding these items that aren’t taxable: face masks; multipurpose agricultural vehicles when used for farming; and six packs of beer (unless sold by a distributor). A new item added to the list that is taxable is wine sold for consumption. The list also creates a specific category for cannabidiol and hemp products, which are taxable unless they fall under an exemption or are subject to other tobacco tax.
